About Sean

Sean Neahusan completed his legal education at the University of Idaho College of Law, earning a J.D. in 2008. He holds a B.S. in Information Systems from Utah Valley State College, awarded in 2005. Those two degrees set the foundation for a practice that crosses state and federal lines.

He began his career in public service. In 2008 he joined the Washoe County District Attorney’s office as a deputy district attorney. That early work placed him in courtrooms and in front of judges and juries. He handled the day-to-day demands of criminal prosecutions, learned case preparation, and gained experience in courtroom procedure.

After his time in the district attorney’s office, Neahusan moved into private practice. His career path included the transition from government work to running his own practice. He has maintained ties to the local legal community and has been active in the Washoe County Bar Association since 2008. Membership in the county bar has kept him connected to peers and local practice developments.

Neahusan is admitted to practice in Nevada and before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit. Those admissions reflect both state-level practice and the ability to appear on federal appellate matters. His background in the DA’s office and subsequent private practice work give him courtroom familiarity and an understanding of appellate procedure.

Colleagues describe him as methodical in case preparation and steady in court. He is comfortable handling contested hearings and the pace of litigation. His academic background in information systems also informs how he approaches evidence and case organization, particularly in matters that involve technical or data-related issues.

Today he practices under the name Sean Neahusan, Lawyer at Law, L.L.C. He maintains an office in Nevada and continues to appear in state and federal matters as necessary. He remains a member of the Washoe County Bar Association and stays active in local legal circles. He currently practices through his firm and appears in Nevada state courts and before the Federal Circuit on relevant matters.
