About Sean

Sean Morrison earned his undergraduate degrees in economics and English at the University of Montana, completing his B.A. in 2009. He moved east for law school and graduated from Harvard Law School in 2015. Those years shaped the combination of analytical rigor and written argument that marks his approach to legal work.

After law school, Morrison built a practice that spans both his home state and the nation’s capital. He is admitted to the bars of the District of Columbia and Montana and has handled matters that require attention to local rules as well as federal procedure. Early on he worked on a range of matters that required courtroom preparation, written advocacy and careful client counseling. Over time he moved into a role where he could run a small firm and oversee all aspects of client representation.

Morrison founded Morrison Law Office PLLC to provide a more personalized setting for clients. He runs a compact office where he manages cases directly and coordinates outside resources when necessary. Colleagues describe him as thorough in preparation and direct in court, preferring clarity to flourish. The office handles matters that arise under both state and federal law, reflecting Morrison’s dual bar admissions and his willingness to litigate or negotiate depending on what a case requires.

He maintains active involvement in the legal community through professional memberships. Morrison has participated in continuing education and local bar activities that keep him current on procedural changes and emerging legal issues. He is comfortable in both written and oral advocacy. Clients receive documents drafted to the point and arguments presented without unnecessary flourish.

Morrison’s background in economics and English informs his work. The economics training helps him assess financial stakes and damages. His study of English sharpens his drafting and proofing. Together they produce a practical style: clear analysis, careful writing, and an interest in solving problems rather than complicating them.

In practice he represents individuals and businesses on matters that require litigation or transactional advice across Montana and the District of Columbia. He manages cases from intake through resolution and tries to tailor strategy to each client’s circumstances. As of 2026 he continues to practice at Morrison Law Office PLLC, where he concentrates on civil legal matters for individuals and companies.
