About Scott
Scott Palumbo studied at the University of Notre Dame, where he earned a B.A., and later attended Arizona State University. He combined a collegiate education with an early interest in law and public service. The mix of a liberal arts background and additional study in Arizona set the stage for a legal career centered in the state.
He joined Palumbo Wolfe & Palumbo as a personal injury lawyer in 2006. Over the years he built a caseload that ranges from high-stakes injury claims to complex settlement negotiations. His courtroom work is steady and routine; he tries cases when the facts demand a jury and pursues settlements when that course best serves his clients.
Palumbo’s public roles run alongside his private practice. Since 2009 he has served as a Judge Pro Tempore for the Superior Court of Arizona. He also sits as a Hearing Panel Judge and Settlement Officer for the Arizona Supreme Court Lawyer Discipline Unit. Those roles have put him on both sides of court administration: presiding in trial settings and helping resolve professional-conduct matters behind the scenes.
He is active in professional organizations. He holds membership in the State Bar of Arizona and belongs to the American Association for Justice. He serves on the Board of Directors for the Arizona Trial Lawyers Association and is involved with the Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law Alumni Association as a board member. He also maintains membership in the Multi-Million Dollar Advocates Forum and the Brain Injury Association of Arizona, where he participates on the advisory board. His connection to Notre Dame endures through membership in the University of Notre Dame National Monogram Club (Football).
Those affiliations reflect a mix of litigation practice, peer engagement, and community service. He moves between client meetings, courtroom calendars, and advisory panels. He teaches practical law on occasion through panel appearances and courtroom instruction, and he hears disciplinary matters for the state bar system.
Colleagues describe him as methodical in the office and deliberate in court. His practice emphasizes preparation: careful investigation, witness development, and readiness to try a case. He has maintained a long-term presence in Arizona’s trial bar while taking on roles that influence court procedure and lawyer discipline.
He currently handles personal injury litigation at Palumbo Wolfe & Palumbo, where he continues to practice and serve in judicial and disciplinary capacities.
