About Scott David

Scott David Weaver earned his J.D. from the University of Texas at Austin in 2017 after completing law school in Austin. He moved from an academic setting into practice at a time when immigration law was under intense public scrutiny. That early period shaped his approach to casework and client communication.

He joined the American Immigration Lawyers Association in 2016 and has maintained that membership since. The association connection has kept him tied to developments in federal immigration policy and practice. Colleagues and clients have described him as methodical in how he tracks changes that affect filings, court practice, and agency procedures.

In 2022 Weaver worked as an immigration lawyer at Bravo-Bonetti Legal, PLLC. There he handled client intake, prepared petitions and applications, and represented clients before immigration authorities. His day-to-day work included preparing documentation, drafting briefs, and advising on eligibility for relief under various statutes. That role gave him regular exposure to both administrative processing and the procedural demands of representation in immigration matters.

Two years later, in 2024, he opened his own firm, Weaver Immigration Law, where he serves as owner and principal lawyer. Heading his own practice allowed him to set processes for client communication and case management. He built a small practice model centered on individualized attention and procedural clarity. At the firm he oversees case strategy, client counseling, and court filings, and he manages relationships with interpreters, experts, and outside counsel when cases require additional resources.

Weaver is licensed to practice in Texas and conducts his work out of his firm in the state. His litigation experience and administrative practice inform how he frames filings and prepares clients for proceedings. He represents individuals and families on a range of immigration matters, including visa applications, adjustment of status, naturalization-related issues, and relief requests that arise in removal settings. He maintains professional memberships that connect him to updates in federal immigration practice.

He continues to lead Weaver Immigration Law and represents clients in Texas on immigration matters, handling petitions, applications, and related proceedings as part of his current practice focus.
