About Scott Christopher

Scott Christopher Hubbell took an unconventional route into law. He began with a bachelor’s degree in public affairs at American University, earning his B.A. in 1989. He followed that with training in litigation support at Georgetown University in 1990. He completed his legal education at Western Michigan University Cooley Law School and received his J.D. in 1996.

After law school, Hubbell entered practice in Massachusetts. He is a member of the Massachusetts State Bar, a membership he has held since 1996. That same year he began practicing under the name Hubbell Law, where he has built a steady, local practice. Public records show a continuous professional presence in the state since his admission to the bar.

Hubbell’s early academic background in public affairs and litigation support informs how he approaches legal work. Those studies exposed him to policy questions as well as the technical side of case preparation. He combines that training with courtroom skills acquired through his law degree and years of practice. Colleagues and clients describe him as practical and straightforward in handling legal matters.

Over the course of his career Hubbell has handled a range of matters in Massachusetts courts. His practice has included representation in contested proceedings and work behind the scenes preparing cases for trial. He has maintained active participation in the Massachusetts State Bar, which keeps him engaged with local rules and developments affecting state practice.

Hubbell runs a small firm environment that is geared toward hands-on legal work. That setting allows him to be directly involved in client intake, case strategy and litigation preparation. He favors clear communication and frequent updates so clients understand how their matters are progressing.

Outside the office, Hubbell’s earlier interest in public affairs informs a measured approach to public policy issues that intersect with individual legal disputes. He has kept his practice centered in Massachusetts and continues to work in state courts and administrative forums. His work remains grounded in litigation support techniques and practical problem solving.

He is currently practicing at Hubbell Law in Massachusetts, where he handles state-law matters and provides litigation support services as part of his regular work.
