About Scott Allen

Scott Allen Leventhal earned an MBA from the University of New Haven in 1996 and a J.D. from Quinnipiac University School of Law in 2000. He moved from business school to law school in a span of years that combined management training with legal study. The dual degrees shaped an early approach that blends practical business sense and courtroom work.

Leventhal’s first legal roles came in 1998, while he was still a student. He served as a certified legal intern in the Appellate Division of the Public Defender’s Office for the State of Connecticut and worked as a legal intern in the Corporation Counsel’s office for the City of New Haven. Those positions exposed him to appellate procedures and municipal legal processes during the formative stage of his career.

After earning his law degree in 2000, Leventhal began practicing as a lawyer at LoRicco, Trotta & LoRicco. He continued in private practice and, in 2014, was listed as a lawyer at LoRicco Law Office. His work history shows a steady presence in the Connecticut legal community over more than two decades.

Outside the office, Leventhal has been active in local bar activities and civic groups. He has served on the Executive Board of the New Haven County Bar Association since 2013 and has been Events Chair for the same association since 2015. He joined the New Haven County Bar Foundation’s Board of Directors in 2014 and previously held a membership chair role at the county bar from 2010 to 2014.

His civic involvement extends beyond the bar. Leventhal has spoken for Mothers Against Drunk Driving since 2015 and was on the Board of Directors for the United Cerebral Palsy Foundation of Southern Connecticut from 2002 to 2005. He is also a member of Transportation Alternatives and the NYC Cycle Club, activities that indicate a sustained interest in transportation and community life.

Colleagues and community groups alike have noted his steady engagement in local legal and civic institutions over the years. He continues to practice law in Connecticut and is associated with LoRicco Law Office. He currently practices at LoRicco Law Office in Connecticut, handling a range of matters for local clients.
