About Sarah Richardson

Sarah Richardson Trahan built her legal foundation at the University of Alabama. She completed a Bachelor of Arts in Communications in 2015. She then returned to Tuscaloosa for law school and earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Alabama School of Law in 2018.

After law school, Trahan moved into private practice. She joined Coleman, Chambers & Rogers, LLP as an associate lawyer in 2018. The role placed her in the daily work of case development. She handled legal research, drafted pleadings and motions, prepared for hearings and trials, and assisted in client communications and file management.

Trahan is licensed to practice in Georgia. That jurisdictional standing shapes the matters she takes on and the procedural rules that govern her work. Her filework and court filings reflect an attention to procedural detail that firms rely on when preparing matters for court or settlement discussions.

Colleagues describe her as steady and detail-minded in the workroom. She approaches a file by breaking down the immediate tasks and setting clear next steps. That methodical approach comes across in written briefs and client-facing materials. In litigation settings she has supported discovery, witness preparation and motion practice. In transactional settings she has assisted with document drafting and review. She has also spent time guiding clients through routine procedural questions and next-step planning.

Those early years at a regional firm gave Trahan exposure to a range of matters and to the rhythms of both court calendars and client needs. She learned to manage competing deadlines while keeping clients informed. She also became accustomed to coordinating with co-counsel, outside experts and opposing parties to move matters forward.

Trahan continues to practice at Coleman, Chambers & Rogers, LLP. Her work remains concentrated on matters arising under Georgia law and on the practical tasks that keep cases and transactions moving toward resolution. She maintains her practice in Georgia at Coleman, Chambers & Rogers, LLP, where she handles litigation support, document preparation and client advisories as part of the firm’s legal team.
