About Sarah
Sarah Parker built a foundation in international affairs before turning to law. She earned a Bachelor of Science in International Studies from Miami University of Ohio in 2013, studied at Yonsei University in 2015, and received her J.D. from Suffolk University Law School in 2018. Those years shaped both her language skills and the cultural fluency she brings to client matters.
Her early work life mixed administrative and educational roles with legal internships. In 2017 she taught English online and worked as a receptionist at the Delaware County Domestic Relations Court. She also served as an international student orientation coordinator and peer leader at Miami University. Those positions preceded a series of legal placements that exposed her to regulatory and firm environments.
While in law school Parker worked as a Skill Games Intern at the Ohio Casino Control Commission in 2018 and then joined Goss Associates as a legal intern in 2019. In 2020 she took a position as a legal intern with the Department of Justice, Executive Office for Immigration Review, where she assisted on matters before immigration courts and gained direct exposure to adjudicative procedures. That same year she qualified as an SJC Rule 3:03 Student Lawyer through the Suffolk Law Accelerator Clinic, a role that permitted supervised practice and courtroom experience.
Her trajectory suggests an emphasis on immigration and court-based work, informed by international studies and hands-on internships. Parker holds a license from the Board of Bar Overseers and maintains memberships in a range of professional groups. She is active in the American Immigration Lawyers Association, the Boston Bar Association, the Massachusetts Bar Association, the American Bar Association, and the Women’s Bar Association of Massachusetts. She also participates in local business networking through BNI Beacon Hill Ascend and engages with Starting Out Solo.
Colleagues describe her as steady and practical in client matters, preferring clear explanations to legal jargon. Her clinic work required client interviews, document preparation, and appearances under supervision. Those experiences translated into day-to-day practice skills that she applies to contested and administrative proceedings alike.
Parker lives and practices in Massachusetts. Her current work centers on immigration-related matters and court representation in state and federal administrative settings.
