About Sarah E
Sarah E Lamborne earned a Bachelor of Science in Biological Psychology and Cognitive Science from the University of Michigan in 2004 and a J.D. from the University of Colorado Boulder in 2010. She combined a scientific undergraduate background with legal training, a mix that shaped how she approaches fact patterns and client interviews.
Her earliest roles in the legal field were hands-on. She worked as a legal assistant at the Law Office of Chris Easthope and later as a legal secretary at Melick, Porter & Shea. Those positions exposed her to case preparation and client intake. As a law student she took on internships and clinic work, including time at the Rocky Mountain Children’s Law Center and as a student lawyer at the University of Colorado School of Law.
After law school she moved into firm practice. In 2010 she joined Cordell & Cordell, P.C. as an associate lawyer. That position marked her transition to practicing attorney work, handling filings, client meetings and courtroom tasks. She later joined Lathrop Law Office, P.C. in 2013 as an associate, where she continued to develop litigation and case-management skills.
In 2015 Lamborne became a managing partner at Shufflebarger, Lamborne & Clark, LLC. Taking on that title meant both supervising other lawyers and shaping how the firm managed its caseload and client service. Her trajectory from assistant and intern to managing partner reflects steady advancement through practical roles inside small and mid-sized firms.
