About Sarah

Sarah Briones began her academic journey at Boston College, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Philosophy in 1988. She stayed in the Boston area for law school, receiving her J.D. from Suffolk University Law School in 1994. Those years shaped her approach to legal reasoning and client interaction, combining analytic rigor with attention to human context.

Her early career unfolded in Massachusetts courts and legal settings. Over time she moved from associate roles into leadership. In 2003 she founded Briones Law Group. She has led that practice since then, overseeing case work and the firm’s operations. The firm lists its offices in Massachusetts.

Outside the firm, Briones has maintained a steady presence in community and volunteer legal work. She serves as legal advisor to Hagar s Sisters. She sits on the board of Communities for Restorative Justice. She volunteers as Lawyer of the Day for Metrowest Legal Services. She is also a member of the Massachusetts Bar Association. Those roles reflect a consistent thread: involvement in local legal networks and community-centered programs.

Colleagues describe her as practical and thorough. Clients have relied on her for representation and counsel in matters brought before state courts and administrative bodies. Her professional activity spans litigation, client counseling, and transactional work, anchored by a practice based in Massachusetts.

Over the years Briones has balanced private practice responsibilities with public-service commitments. She has taken pro bono and volunteer assignments that put her in contact with legal aid providers and restorative justice organizations. This combination of private and public work informs how she runs her firm and how she approaches individual cases.

Today she leads Briones Law Group, managing client matters and the firm’s engagement with the wider community. Her practice operates out of Massachusetts and continues to include volunteer and board responsibilities in local organizations. She focuses on client representation and community-based legal work.
