About Sara
Sara Sorenson built her legal foundation at the University of Virginia, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts, and then at Georgia State University College of Law, where she took her law degree. She left law school prepared for courtroom work and counseling clients, armed with the research and advocacy training common to those programs.
After finishing her J.D., Sorenson entered practice in Georgia. She is admitted to the Georgia bar and has spent her career working on matters that arise under state law. Over time she moved from early roles in practice into a position of firm leadership, founding Sorenson Law LLC to provide a consistent place for her clients to turn.
Her day-to-day work draws on core skills learned in law school: careful legal research, drafting, and oral advocacy. She handles client intake, negotiates on behalf of those she represents, and prepares matters for court when litigation is necessary. Her practice balances the demands of transactional work with the adversarial pace of hearings and trials.
Colleagues describe Sorenson as pragmatic and detail-oriented, the kind of lawyer who prepares thoroughly before stepping into a hearing. She approaches each matter by assessing the legal issues and the practical choices clients face. That approach helps when disputes require settlement talks as well as when they require contested proceedings.
Outside direct casework, Sorenson has been involved in the operational side of running a small firm. She manages client communications, oversees case workflow, and handles administrative responsibilities that keep a practice functioning. Those duties occupy as much of her schedule as courtroom calendars and client meetings do.
She continues to practice law in Georgia through Sorenson Law LLC and represents clients in matters arising under state law. Her current practice is based at Sorenson Law LLC and focuses on representing clients in Georgia.
