About Sara M.

Sara M. Nielson built her foundation in the humanities before turning to law. She earned a B.A. in English from Brigham Young University in 2002 and returned to BYU for her J.D., which she completed at the J. Reuben Clark Law School in 2011. Those years shaped a careful analytical instinct and a habit of precise writing.

After law school, Nielson moved into legal practice and developed a steady professional trajectory. Her early years in the field involved routine courtroom preparation, document drafting and client conferences. Over time she brought that work into a firm setting, where case management and institutional processes became a regular part of her routine.

At Parr Brown Gee & Loveless, Nielson serves as an attorney within the firm’s roster. Her day-to-day work includes advising clients, preparing filings and participating in negotiations. She tends to combine a methodical approach to facts with close attention to procedure. Colleagues describe her as exacting in her review of pleadings and consistent in meeting deadlines.

Nielson’s education in English informs the way she writes for the court and for clients. She favors clear, direct prose. That clarity shows up in briefs, client letters and internal strategy memos. Her legal training added doctrine and process to that foundation. The result is a practice style that emphasizes organization and readable legal writing.

Outside the office, she maintains professional memberships and participates in the legal community through those affiliations. She keeps current on changes in rule and procedure that affect her day-to-day work. That attention helps when preparing materials for hearings or when responding to client questions under tight timelines.

Her colleagues say she brings a steady, workmanlike approach to client matters. She focuses on the tasks at hand and on moving matters forward. As of 2026 she practices law at Parr Brown Gee & Loveless, where her current work concentrates on serving clients through the firm’s practice and resources.
