About Sara

Sara Batchelor built a foundation in political science before turning to the law. She earned a B.A. in Political Science from Georgia State University in 2015 and completed her J.D. at Atlanta's John Marshall Law School in 2019. Those years on campus framed her interest in how state law shapes daily life and public institutions. The combination of undergraduate study and later legal training informed an early decision to begin working inside law firms while she completed her degree.

Her entry into legal work began in a support role. In 2012 she joined Daniels & Taylor, P.C. as a paralegal. That experience exposed her to the nuts and bolts of case management, document organization, and client intake. She moved to E. Jones & Associates in 2017 as a senior paralegal, where she handled more complex files and took on supervisory tasks. A year later she returned to Daniels & Taylor as a senior paralegal and, upon finishing law school, transitioned to an attorney role with the firm in 2019.

The progression from paralegal to associate gave her a steady view of how cases evolve inside a firm. As an associate lawyer she took on responsibilities reserved for licensed counsel: conducting legal research, drafting pleadings and motions, and advising clients on procedural steps. The work required attention to detail and an ability to translate research into practical options for clients. She has balanced file management and courtroom preparation on overlapping matters, often drawing on the procedural knowledge she developed earlier in her paralegal roles.

Batchelor is licensed to practice in Georgia and has spent her career working in that jurisdiction. Her practice reflects an emphasis on state law and the procedures of Georgia courts. Colleagues describe her as practical and exacting in legal writing, and she has relied on her background in political science to make sense of regulatory and statutory frameworks.

Across roles she has remained attached to the same regional legal community. That continuity shaped how she approaches client work: steady, detail-oriented, and oriented toward resolving the procedural issues that can determine case outcomes. She currently practices at Daniels & Taylor, P.C., representing clients in matters arising under Georgia law.
