About Sang S
Sang S Kim is a graduate of Brooklyn Law School and is licensed to practice law in New York. He built his legal foundation at Brooklyn, where he completed his legal studies before entering practice in the New York legal community. He has maintained ties to the city’s legal networks and courts since completing his education.
Early in his career he worked at Berry Appleman & Leiden LLP. That firm is known for handling corporate immigration matters and large-scale employer programs. During his time there he worked alongside teams that handled a range of immigration processes and employer-related filings, gaining experience with the procedures and deadlines that shape corporate immigration practice.
He later joined VisaNation Law Group PLLC, where he has continued to practice immigration law. At VisaNation he has been involved in preparing petitions and applications, advising on procedural matters and supporting clients through consular processing and adjustment of status steps. His work has required coordination with employers, in-house counsel and family petitioners, and regular interaction with federal agencies.
Colleagues describe him as pragmatic and detail-oriented in handling documentation and case preparation. He approaches each matter with an eye toward accuracy and timing. He works with both individual petitioners and employer clients, helping them understand the regulatory process and the evidentiary requirements for various types of visas and immigration benefits.
Outside the courtroom and the filing deadlines, he has focused on keeping abreast of changes in immigration policy and administrative practice. That attention helps him advise clients on procedural shifts and timing issues, and to prepare submissions that respond to current standards. He has experience managing complex case files and coordinating multicultural client teams across time zones.
He currently practices at VisaNation Law Group PLLC, representing individuals and employers in immigration and visa matters.
