Sanford (Sandy) A. Wallack is a seasoned criminal defense attorney based in Atlanta, Georgia, with over 30 years of dedicated experience in the legal field. His practice encompasses many criminal cases, including serious charges such as murder, armed robbery, and aggravated assault. Additionally, Sandy has successfully navigated complex white-collar crime cases, sexual offenses, and RICO actions. His experience allows him to represent clients effectively at both the trial and appellate levels in various state and federal courts across Georgia.
Sandy earned his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Florida in 1991, laying a strong foundation for his legal career. He furthered his education by obtaining his Juris Doctor from Emory University School of Law in 1994. His commitment to legal excellence is further exemplified by his graduation from the National Criminal Defense College Trial Practice Institute, a program known for its rigorous training in trial advocacy. Since being licensed by the Georgia State Bar in 1994, Sandy has held positions in both the public and private sectors, including significant roles at Jacobs King & Wallack and Michael Moran & Associates. Throughout his career, Sandy has also served in public defender roles, including positions at the Fulton County Conflict Defender’s Office and the Douglas County Public Defender’s Office.
His work with the City of Atlanta Public Defender’s Office further highlights his commitment to providing quality legal representation to those in need. In 2017, Sandy joined the faculty of the Georgia Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers’ Bill Daniel Trial Advocacy Program. This prestigious program is designed to train and mentor less experienced criminal defense attorneys, reflecting Sandy’s dedication to the future of the legal profession.
