About Samuel

Samuel Thomas earned his law degree at Gonzaga University School of Law after enrolling in 2017 and completing the program in 2019. He finished the J.D. program at a time when legal education emphasized both doctrinal study and practical training. Classrooms, clinics and externships shaped his early legal habits.

After law school he entered private practice. He joined The Zinda Law Group, where he has continued to build practical skills. Colleagues describe him as methodical in case preparation and deliberate in courtroom pacing. He handles daily tasks that keep cases moving: drafting pleadings, preparing motions and managing discovery timelines.

Thomas’s early years in practice reinforced a routine familiar to many litigation lawyers. He spends long hours on legal research and on crafting written arguments. He also participates in hearings and client conferences, translating legal concepts into actionable plans for those he represents. His approach is straightforward: identify the key facts, apply the law, and present options to clients.

Peers note that his law school background gave him a baseline in persuasive writing and procedure. Those skills have practical payoff in court filings and negotiations. He aims to be precise in deadlines and thorough in document review, habits that clients and colleagues rely on when matters become time sensitive.

At the firm, Thomas contributes to teams handling a variety of matters. He often moves between drafting briefs and attending court. The variety keeps the work procedural and exacting. It also requires steady communication with clients, opposing counsel and court personnel.

Outside of casework, he continues to follow developments in state and federal law that affect his daily practice. He attends local bar programs and in-house training sessions to maintain procedural knowledge and courtroom technique. The work is procedural and detail-oriented, and he organizes his time around the demands of ongoing litigation.

Samuel Thomas now practices at The Zinda Law Group, where his current practice focuses on client representation and litigation support at the firm.
