About Samuel
Samuel Harden built his academic foundation at the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa, where he completed a Bachelor of Arts in English and Spanish in 2005. He went on to earn his Juris Doctor from Florida State University College of Law in 2009. Those years of study gave him grounding in legal analysis and written advocacy.
After law school Harden took a position as a lobbyist for the Florida Justice Association in 2009. The role placed him in the center of state-level policy conversations and exposed him to legislative strategy and coalition work. He moved into private practice the following year, joining Cole, Scott & Kissane, P.A., as an associate in 2010. That position marked the beginning of his courtroom and client-side experience.
In 2012 Harden joined Gunn Law Group, P.A. as an associate. There he continued to handle litigation matters and contributed to case preparation, discovery, and motion practice. His early career spans both advocacy before lawmakers and litigation inside the courts — a combination that shaped his approach to dispute resolution and trial preparation.
Harden has maintained ties to organized bar groups. He has been a member of the Florida Justice Association since 2012. He also holds membership in the Tampa Bay Trial Lawyers Association, a connection he began in 2012 and continues to the present. Those affiliations reflect sustained involvement with peers who focus on trial work and civil justice issues.
He currently practices at Metcalf Harden, P.A. in Florida. At the firm he draws on experience from his years as a lobbyist and associate attorney to advise and represent clients. He handles litigation matters, participates in case strategy, and works on preparing cases for trial.
Harden is licensed to practice in Florida and remains active in professional circles around the state. He concentrates on trial and civil litigation.
