About Samuel C.

Samuel C. Feinson built his path to the bar through study and steady courtroom work. He earned a Bachelor of Arts from McGill University in 2005, studying International Development Studies and Philosophy. He completed his Juris Doctor at Seattle University School of Law in 2012 and was admitted to the Washington bar that year.

Early in his legal career Feinson worked in public defense. In 2013 he served as a lawyer for the Pierce County Department of Assigned Counsel. That role placed him in local courtrooms handling cases appointed by the county. He also spent time that year as a part-time associate at the Law Office of Aimee Sutton, PLLC, gaining experience in client counseling and case preparation.

A year later Feinson moved into private practice leadership. In 2014 he became a partner at Faber Feinson PLLC. As a partner he has managed client files, overseen litigation strategy and handled hearings and trials on behalf of his clients. The move to partnership marked a transition from public appointment work to a private practice setting while retaining courtroom work.

Feinson’s professional memberships trace a steady engagement with both criminal defense and broader trial practice communities. He has been a member of the Washington Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers since 2010 and joined the Washington Defender Association in 2013. He has held membership in the Washington State Bar Association since 2012 and in the Washington State Association for Justice since 2014. Those affiliations reflect regular contact with peers, continuing legal education and the professional networks that support trial practitioners.

Colleagues describe Feinson as methodical in preparing cases and pragmatic in court. He draws on the practical experience gained in appointed counsel work as well as the management responsibilities of partnership. He has spent his career practicing in Washington state courts and continues to take matters through pretrial stages, hearings and trials when cases require it.

Feinson maintains his practice at Faber Feinson PLLC and works on matters arising under Washington law. He currently represents clients in criminal matters in Washington state courts.
