About Samuel C Arp
Samuel C Arp II earned his law degree from the Indiana Institute of Technology in 2016 after completing undergraduate studies in business management at Oakland City University in 2010. The path from business degree to law school shaped how he approaches cases. He learned to parse numbers and documents early. He finished law school ready for courtroom work.
His first position after law school was a law clerk role at Smith Carpenter Fondrisi Law Office in 2016. That year provided a behind-the-scenes view of legal preparation and client interaction. In 2017 he moved into public service as a Felony Trial Deputy at the Vanderburg County Prosecutor’s Office. There he handled the pressures of county-level criminal litigation and the pace of trial calendars. Courtroom routines and evidentiary practice became regular parts of his work.
Later in 2017 he opened ARP Law Office. He left the prosecutor’s office to create a small firm where he could manage caseloads and client contact directly. Running a solo practice required juggling case strategy, office administration, and client counseling. He built the office to practice across Indiana courts and to take cases through hearing and trial when necessary.
Arp maintains active ties to the legal community through professional memberships. He participates in local bar activities and in ongoing legal education. Those connections keep him current on procedural changes and on developments in state law. Colleagues and former prosecutors have been part of his informal network since his time at the Vanderburg County office.
The arc of his career — business undergraduate, law clerk, county prosecutor, and firm owner — shows a steady move toward direct client work and courtroom involvement. He has experience on both sides of the aisle: preparing prosecution files and then managing defense and civil matters in private practice. That breadth informs how he assesses evidence and plans for hearings. He continues to run ARP Law Office and represents clients in Indiana state courts, focusing his practice on matters brought in those courts.
