About Samantha
Samantha Rittgers chose a path that began in the study of government and law. She earned a B.A. in Political Science from Northern Kentucky University in 2011 and completed her J.D. at Salmon P. Chase College of Law at Northern Kentucky University in 2015. Those years established a firm grounding in the mechanics of public policy and courtroom procedure.
After law school, Rittgers entered private practice and built her career in Ohio. She is admitted to practice in that state and has practiced out of multiple offices of Rittgers Rittgers & Nakajima. Over time she has handled the routine demands of litigation and client counseling, moving between tasks that require fast-paced decision making and others that call for careful legal research.
Colleagues describe her as methodical in preparation and direct in written work. She has experience drafting pleadings and managing case files through trial preparation. She has also worked on matters that require negotiation and settlement discussions, balancing the practical concerns of clients against the procedural realities of the courts.
Outside the office, Rittgers maintains professional memberships and participates in local legal circles. She has stayed connected to the regional legal community since completing her degree. That engagement keeps her aware of changes in local rules and court procedures, and it informs how she prepares for hearings and conferences.
Her practice life is rooted in the day-to-day business of representing individuals and organizations in Ohio. She works from the firm’s offices, coordinating with clients, co-counsel and opposing parties to advance cases through the court system. Her approach is straightforward: prepare thoroughly, communicate clearly, and use procedural tools to protect clients’ interests.
In recent years she has continued to practice at Rittgers Rittgers & Nakajima, handling matters in Ohio state courts and assisting clients at all stages of litigation. She currently practices law in Ohio and represents clients from the firm’s offices, focusing on matters brought in state court.
