About Samantha R.

Samantha R. Mertz earned her undergraduate degree in business from Temple University in 2007 and completed her J.D. at Temple University Beasley School of Law in 2010. She moved steadily from classroom to courtroom after law school, building the practical skills that accompany courtroom work and client counseling. Her legal education at Temple gave her a foundation in procedure, advocacy and legal writing.

She is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania and New Jersey and also holds admission to the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania. Those credentials allow her to handle matters in both state and federal forums. Colleagues describe her as thorough in preparing filings and clear in courtroom presentations. She approaches each matter with attention to the procedural details that often determine outcomes.

Outside the office she has taken on organizational responsibilities. She serves on the Executive Committee of the Louis D. Brandeis Law Society, where she participates in programming and events aimed at the local legal community. That role places her among peers who organize panels, mentorship initiatives and member outreach.

Her career led her to Grant Eisenhofer P.A., where she is part of the firm’s staff. At the firm she works on litigation matters and participates in case preparation for hearings and trials. Her day-to-day work includes drafting pleadings, conducting legal research and preparing courtroom-ready exhibits. She works with co-counsel and clients to map out litigation timelines and to manage the document-intensive work that modern litigation demands.

Mertz combines courtroom experience and organizational involvement in a practice that traverses state and federal courts. She has continued to maintain ties to her alma mater and to the local bar through committee work and professional programs. Her current practice focuses on litigation at Grant Eisenhofer P.A.
