About Saman

Saman Nasseri began his path to the law after completing a political science degree at San Diego State University in 2008. He went on to earn his J.D. from California Western School of Law in 2011. Those three years in law school followed a steady period of study and local ties in the San Diego region.

His early legal experience came through a clerkship at the Law Offices of Kenneth H. Stone in 2010. The role placed him inside the day-to-day of a small firm. He handled research and drafting tasks that are the foundation of trial preparation. The year after law school he spent time in a different role entirely, working as a marketing intern at Valley View Casino & Hotel in 2011. The detour offered perspective on client relations and communications outside the courtroom.

In 2012 he opened his own firm, Nasseri Legal. Starting a practice early in his career meant managing both the legal work and the business side of a law office. Over the years the practice grew around a compact team and local referrals. He established offices in San Diego and Vista to serve clients across the county and beyond.

Nasseri is admitted to practice in California and before the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. Those admissions allow him to represent clients at both trial and appellate levels within the region covered by the Ninth Circuit. He has worked on matters that require filings and appearances in state court and, when necessary, in federal appellate proceedings.

On the professional side, he joined the Iranian American Bar Association and the San Diego County Bar Association in 2012, and remains a member of both. He maintains connections to the local legal community through those associations and through the practice’s offices in the region.

Colleagues describe him as pragmatic in approach and attentive to procedural detail. He built his practice by handling a range of matters that demand careful pleading, timely filings and responsiveness to court schedules. He balances courtroom work with client counseling and the administrative duties of running a small firm.

He now represents clients in matters before California courts and the Ninth Circuit and maintains offices in San Diego and Vista where he continues to accept new matters arising in those jurisdictions.
