About S. Andrew

S. Andrew Foster built a steady legal path from a small Florida college campus to his own firms. He earned a B.A. from Eckerd College and completed his J.D. at Stetson University College of Law in 1998. Those years set the groundwork for a practice centered in Florida courtrooms.

After law school, Foster moved into private practice and later founded two firms that carry his imprint. He is the owner and founder of The Foster Firm and of Divorce Me, P.A. Both practices reflect his decision to steer his career toward client-facing litigation and dispute resolution. Running two offices has meant juggling casework, client intake and the business side of law. He has continued to refine how those pieces fit together over the years.

Foster is licensed to practice in the state of Florida and is admitted in several federal districts. He appears in the United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida, the Southern District of Florida and the Northern District of Florida. That mix of state and federal admissions allows him to take on a range of matters that touch both state family courts and federal procedures when needed.

Clients encounter Foster most often in family-law matters, though his practice covers related civil issues that arise alongside divorce and custody disputes. He handles contested divorces, child custody and timesharing disagreements, property division questions and enforcement of court orders. He prepares pleadings, leads negotiation sessions and represents clients at trial when cases do not settle. His courtroom work is paired with attention to the procedural requirements of both state and federal filings.

Outside the office, Foster maintains memberships in professional circles that keep him connected to local practice developments. He is a current member of the Broward Bar Association and of the Florida State Bar. Those affiliations provide access to continuing legal education and networks of colleagues across practice areas, which can be useful when cases present cross-disciplinary issues.

He practices from his firms in Florida and manages a caseload that reflects the needs of individuals facing divorce and related civil disputes. He now practices primarily in family law, handling divorce, child custody and related civil matters.
