About Ryan
Ryan Truesdale shifted from laboratory science to law over the course of his studies. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Medical Laboratory Sciences from the University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee in 2009. That early scientific training informed a careful, detail-oriented approach to problems. He then pursued legal studies at Marquette University Law School and received his Juris Doctor in 2013.
During law school he encountered courses that bridged scientific and legal thinking. Those experiences helped shape his decision to practice in Wisconsin. After graduation he moved into private practice and, in 2015, joined Hupy and Abragam, S.C. as an associate lawyer. There he handled matters that required methodical case preparation and frequent interaction with clients, counsel, and experts.
The years at Hupy and Abragam gave him courtroom exposure and experience managing files from intake through resolution. He worked on litigation teams and learned the day-to-day mechanics of running cases. Colleagues from that period describe him as steady and pragmatic, preferring clear analysis over theatrical courtroom flourishes.
Truesdale later transitioned to Groth Law Office S.C., where he continues his legal career. His move reflected an interest in practicing closer to home and in a setting that allows hands-on engagement with each matter. At Groth Law Office S.C. he has handled a mix of contested and negotiated issues, supporting clients through discovery, motion practice, and trial preparation.
Outside of casework he maintains professional ties in the Wisconsin legal community. He keeps current on state practice and procedure and participates in continuing legal education. Clients and peers note his attention to deadlines and emphasis on factual clarity when building a case file.
He lives and works in Wisconsin and draws on both his scientific undergraduate training and his legal education when approaching evidence and testimony. The combination of those backgrounds informs how he prepares witnesses and evaluates medical and technical records. He is an active attorney at Groth Law Office S.C., practicing in Wisconsin courts and handling matters for individuals and local businesses.
