About Ryan
Ryan Sise grew up studying the law in structured steps. He earned a Bachelor of Arts from Eastern Michigan University in 2009. He began law school in 2011 and completed his Juris Doctor at Arizona Summit Law School in 2014, where he pursued trial law training. The combination of a liberal arts background and courtroom training shaped how he approaches cases.
After law school, Sise moved into public service. In 2019 he took a post as an Assistant District Lawyer in the Third Judicial District. There he handled matters typical for a district lawyer’s office and gained courtroom experience on behalf of the state. The role gave him daily exposure to trial procedure and client intake, along with case preparation under calendar pressure.
He launched his own practice in 2021. Sise established Sise Law Office and began offering representation out of that office in New Mexico. Running a small firm required him to take on administrative responsibilities as well as legal work. The experience broadened his perspective on practice management and client communication.
Sise’s memberships offer a window into the kinds of work he takes on. He joined the New Mexico Indian Bar Association in 2023. In the same year he became active in sections of the New Mexico State Bar that handle real property, trusts and estates, and the solo and small firm community; those memberships continued into 2024. He also became part of the New Mexico State Bar’s Elder Law Section in 2024. These affiliations reflect involvement across civil practice areas as well as bar governance and networking for smaller firms.
Colleagues describe his background as practical. He has trial training from law school and hands-on experience from the district attorney’s office. His private practice has required him to apply that training to a range of civil matters. He handles matters that arise from real property disputes, trust and estate questions, and elder law concerns, and he draws on trial skills when a case moves toward litigation.
Sise balances courtroom work with the everyday tasks of a small-firm lawyer. He continues to accept new clients through Sise Law Office and represents individuals in proceedings in New Mexico. His current practice concentrates on civil matters including real property, trusts and estates, and elder law.
