About Ryan R.
Ryan R. Cox studied at the University of Notre Dame before earning his J.D. from the University of Missouri–Columbia. He arrived in the legal community after a straightforward academic path that combined liberal arts and legal training.
Early in his career Cox worked as a law clerk. In 2000 he was at the Law Offices of Dallas W. Cox, Jr. The following year he took a clerkship at Gray, Ritter & Graham. Those years offered courtroom exposure and practical casework that shaped his approach to litigation. In 2002 he joined the Law Offices of Michael T. Londoff as an associate, handling client matters and assisting trial teams.
In 2006 Cox took the next step and established his own firm. He is the founding partner and president of Ryan R. Cox & Associates, LLC. He has built the firm around trial practice and client representation in Missouri courts. Over time he expanded responsibilities from casework to managing a practice and mentoring younger attorneys.
Cox is active in professional associations across the state and beyond. He holds membership in the Missouri Bar, the St. Charles County Bar Association, and the Bar Association of Metropolitan St. Louis. He is also affiliated with groups that center on trial advocacy, including the Missouri Association of Trial Lawyers, the American Association for Justice, and The National Trial Lawyers Association. He holds membership in the Wyoming Trial Lawyers Association as well.
Outside of bar memberships he has taken on governance and fundraising roles. Since 2014 he has served on the Board of Directors for Legal Services of Eastern Missouri. He also participates in the Executive Steering Committee for the Annual Bar Campaign. These roles involve oversight and support for delivery of legal services to low-income and underserved residents in the region.
Clients and colleagues describe Cox as methodical and pragmatic. He combines courtroom experience with hands-on case management. The firm operates out of Ryan R. Cox & Associates, LLC, where he supervises litigation strategy and daily operations.
He remains licensed and active in Missouri. His practice concentrates on civil litigation and trial work, including personal injury and other plaintiff-side matters in state courts.
