About Ryan Joseph
Ryan Joseph Jewell is an Arkansas attorney whose path into law began after an undergraduate degree in the sciences. He earned a B.S. in Biology from the University of Arkansas–Fayetteville in 2008, then enrolled at the University of Arkansas School of Law, where he received his J.D. in 2014. During law school he served as a law clerk at Lauck Law Office in 2013, gaining early exposure to legal practice.
After passing into practice he took a position at Niblock Law Office in 2015. He worked there as a lawyer before moving in 2018 to the Law Office of Jason M. Hatfield P.A., where he has been on staff since. Those moves reflect a steady progression from clerkship through early associate roles to a longer-term placement in private practice.
Jewell maintains active memberships in several professional organizations. He is a member of the State Bar of Arkansas and has been affiliated with the Arkansas Bar Association since 2011. He joined the American Bar Association in 2015 and is listed with the Arkansas Trial Lawyers Association from the same year. Since 2018 he has also belonged to the Arkansas Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers and the Washington County Bar Association. These affiliations place him in both local and statewide legal circles.
On the ground, Jewell’s work has involved courtroom and litigation responsibilities. His association with the Arkansas Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers indicates regular engagement in criminal matters, while participation in the Arkansas Trial Lawyers Association suggests experience in contested civil proceedings. Colleagues describe him as methodical in case preparation and steady under the pressures of court schedules.
His office work mixes client meetings, motions practice and courtroom appearances. Case files range in complexity and the work requires balancing evidentiary review, briefs and hearings. He draws on his scientific undergraduate training when cases raise technical or factual issues that benefit from close analysis.
As of 2026 he practices at the Law Office of Jason M. Hatfield P.A. in Arkansas, where his caseload includes criminal defense and trial-related matters.
