About Ryan D
Ryan D Griffee earned his law degree from Pepperdine University School of Law in 2010 after completing an MBA at Pepperdine University in 2009. He combined graduate business study with legal training during a period of overlapping coursework. The dual degrees informed his early approach to practice and provided a background in both transactional and procedural thinking.
He began his legal career in the Pacific Northwest. In 2011 he worked as a lawyer at Stokes Lawrence, P.S., where he handled matters typical for a growing associate at a regional firm. Four years later he joined Larson Berg & Perkins PLLC as a lawyer in 2015. Those roles exposed him to both firm-based practice and local court work across state lines.
Griffee is licensed in both Oregon and Washington. That bi-state standing has been a practical asset in cases that cross jurisdictional boundaries and in serving clients whose operations span the two states. He has navigated matters in each jurisdiction's court systems and built a practice aware of regional procedural differences.
Outside of firm work he has taken part in bar activities. He served as treasurer of the Yakima County Bar Association from 2013 through 2015. The role put him on the association's leadership team and involved him in local efforts to support legal practitioners and court-related programming.
Over the years he has moved between mid-size firm environments and a smaller practice setting. Those shifts reflect an interest in both handling matters directly for clients and working within collaborative firm teams. Colleagues describe him as steady in the courtroom and practical in client meetings; he combines courtroom experience with an understanding of business considerations informed by his MBA.
He currently practices at Larson Griffee & Pickett PLLC. He represents clients in matters brought in Oregon and Washington and continues to work on disputes and transactional issues that arise in the Pacific Northwest.
