About Ryan C.
Ryan C. Fowler earned a bachelor’s degree in microbiology from Kansas State University before turning to law. He completed his J.D. at the University of Kansas School of Law. He is licensed to practice in both Kansas and Missouri, which shapes the geography of his courtroom work and client matters.
His legal career began in the early 2000s. In 2004 he joined Armstrong Teasdale as a lawyer. He moved to Logan Logan & Watson, L.C. in 2008 and spent several years developing trial skills and handling civil filings and motion practice. In 2013 he became a partner at Fowler Pickert LLC. Four years later the firm reorganized and he took on the partner title at Fowler Pickert Eisenmenger, LLC in 2017. The progression tracks a steady shift from associate work to firm leadership and case management.
Fowler’s practice has centered on courtroom litigation and the tasks that lead up to trial. He has experience conducting discovery, arguing dispositive motions, and presenting evidence before judges and juries. That experience comes from a succession of trial and litigation roles at each firm he worked for. Colleagues describe him as a lawyer who expects meticulous case preparation and who is comfortable handling the practical pressures of trial calendars and deadlines.
He maintains memberships in several professional groups. He is a current member of the American Association for Justice, the Kansas Association for Justice and the Johnson County Bar Association. These affiliations keep him plugged into continuing education and peer discussions on evolving rules and practice strategies in state courts.
Today he practices as a partner at Fowler Pickert Eisenmenger, LLC. His day-to-day work mixes courtroom appearances, client counseling and supervision of case teams. He divides his time between matters filed in Kansas and Missouri and the trial work that accompanies those matters.
He remains based at the firm and continues to handle civil litigation matters that proceed to trial, offering representation across both Kansas and Missouri courts.
