About Ryan A.
Ryan A. DeHoyos graduated from South Texas College of Law in 2009 and began his legal career in Texas the same year. He earned his law degree at a time when the legal landscape in the state was changing rapidly. After completing law school, he secured admission to practice in Texas and has maintained membership in the state bar since 2009.
He entered practice at a moment when courtroom procedure, case management and client counseling were already central to daily work for many attorneys. Early in his career he took on the practical tasks that shape a lawyer’s toolbox: drafting pleadings, preparing witnesses, negotiating settlements and appearing in hearings. Those first years gave him direct experience in the workings of Texas courts and administrative processes.
Over time his day-to-day work continued to revolve around representing clients in matters governed by Texas law. He has handled cases that required attention to procedural detail and careful coordination of evidence and testimony. His work has involved interacting with judges, opposing counsel and clients to move matters toward resolution.
He has retained active membership in the State Bar of Texas since his admission in 2009. That affiliation has kept him connected to developments in state rules and case law. Remaining current on statutory changes and court decisions has been part of sustaining a practice that operates inside Texas’s legal system.
Colleagues describe him as steady in the courtroom and thorough in preparation. He pays attention to the small facts that can matter in litigation and to the paperwork that keeps a case on track. Those habits shape how he approaches each matter. He balances courtroom readiness with efforts to resolve disputes before trial when the facts and circumstances make settlement the more practical path.
Today he continues to practice law in Texas. He represents clients in matters handled under state law and remains active in the legal community. He maintains a private practice in Texas.
