About Russell Loren
Russell Loren Goodrow is a licensed attorney admitted to practice law in the State of California. He was admitted to the California State Bar in 2007. His license is currently in active status. Mr. Goodrow is the founder and principal attorney at Goodrow Law Office, a personal injury and civil litigation firm with offices in San Francisco and Santa Barbara, California. He has been practicing law for over 18 years, serving clients throughout the San Francisco Bay Area, Northern California, and Southern California.
Mr. Goodrow earned his Juris Doctor degree from Golden Gate University School of Law, where he graduated in 2007. Prior to law school, he completed his undergraduate education at California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo, receiving a Bachelor of Arts degree in History. During his time at Golden Gate University, he volunteered at the San Francisco Public Defender’s Office, gaining his first trial experience in 2004. He also worked for the U.S. Department of Justice on environmental cases, including the 2007 Cosco Busan tanker case, where 53,569 gallons of heavy fuel oil spilled into San Francisco Bay.
Mr. Goodrow concentrates his practice in the areas of personal injury law and civil litigation. He represents individuals who have been injured in car, motorcycle, bicycle, and pedestrian accidents, as well as those involved in premises liability cases. His practice encompasses all stages of litigation, including initial case evaluation, discovery, mediation, settlement negotiations, and trial proceedings in both state and federal courts. He is known for his tenacious trial advocacy and has successfully tried numerous cases to verdict.
Throughout his career, Mr. Goodrow has handled cases in the Superior Court of California for the County of San Francisco, the Superior Court of California for the County of Santa Barbara, the United States District Court for the Northern District of California, and the United States District Court for the Central District of California. He has also appeared before the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. Prior to founding Goodrow Law Office, he worked as an associate attorney at a mid-size litigation firm in San Francisco for several years.
Mr. Goodrow is an active member of the California State Bar Association and the San Francisco Trial Lawyers Association. He is also a graduate of the Gerry Spence Trial Lawyer's College and Bill Barton's Trial Advocacy Bootcamp. In addition to his legal practice, he is involved in community service and has volunteered with various organizations in the San Francisco Bay Area. Mr. Goodrow is fluent in English and Spanish, allowing him to serve a diverse clientele effectively.
