Russell Hodges studied history as an undergraduate and stayed in Nashville for law school. He earned a B.A. in History from Vanderbilt University and then completed his law degree at Vanderbilt University Law School. Those years shaped an early interest in public service and local institutions.
His career has moved between public office, civic roles and private practice. He served as mayor of Germantown, Tennessee, a role that exposed him to municipal law, budgeting and local governance. He has been recognized by peers and local organizations, including a listing as a Top Lawyer in Georgia by The Legal Network and a Paul Harris Fellowship from the Lanier-Forsyth Rotary Club.
