About Russell
Russell Dombrow built a legal path that moved from technical study to courtroom work. He studied management information systems early, then turned to law. The mix of disciplines has shaped how he approaches client matters.
He earned a Juris Doctor from Shepard Broad Law Center at Nova Southeastern University in 2006. Before that he completed a Master of Science in Management Information Systems at Nova Southeastern University in 2003. His undergraduate degree is a Bachelor of Arts in History and Political Science from the State University of New York at Buffalo, awarded in 1995.
Dombrow’s early legal work included a staff lawyer role at the Justice Alliance of Central New York in 2010. The position placed him on the front lines of client intake and case handling for a regional legal services organization. It also provided practical courtroom exposure and client advocacy that informed his later choices in private practice.
In 2012 he opened the Dombrow Law Office. He lists his professional jurisdiction as New York and maintains an office under that firm name. Over the years his practice has handled a variety of matters for individuals and small organizations. He manages day-to-day client counseling, case preparation and court filings from his office.
Colleagues and former clients describe him as methodical in preparation. He draws on his technical background when tasks require document review or an organized litigation plan. That combination of analytical training and practical courtroom experience is evident in how he structures cases and communicates options to clients.
Outside of casework he has continued to engage with the legal community in ways that reflect steady practice rather than public leadership positions. He has worked in both organizational and private settings, which gives him a sense of how different legal environments operate.
Today he practices through the Dombrow Law Office in New York. He advises and represents clients in matters arising under state law and handles the litigation and transactional work that comes through his office.
