About Roya

Roya Habich grew up pursuing a clear path to the law. She completed a Bachelor of Arts at the University of Texas at Austin in 2006 and went on to earn her J.D. from the University of Wisconsin Law School in 2009. Those years framed her legal education and prepared her for a practice that crosses state and federal lines.

After law school, Habich entered the legal profession at a time when immigration issues were rising on both local and national agendas. She joined professional organizations early in her career and has maintained those ties. Since 2010 she has been a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association and the State Bar of Arizona. Those memberships reflect a continuing engagement with the practice and policies of immigration law.

Habich is licensed to practice in Wisconsin and Arizona and is admitted to the Federal Circuit. That set of admissions gives her the authority to represent clients in state courts in two jurisdictions and in certain federal appellate matters. It also means she can advise clients whose cases involve interactions between state rules and federal immigration processes.

Colleagues describe Habich as methodical and precise. She favors clear explanations over legalese. That approach helps clients understand options and risks. In meetings she breaks down complex regulatory material into steps that nonlawyers can follow. Her courtroom work and filings tend to reflect the same clarity.

Her career has been marked by steady professional involvement rather than public headline cases. Membership in national and state bars has kept her current on shifts in immigration policy and procedure. She has used those resources to inform case strategy and client counseling. Habich’s practice has also required regular contact with government agencies, administrative officers, and federal court dockets.

Clients who work with Habich can expect direct communication and attention to procedural detail. She handles matters that require cross-jurisdictional practice and stays engaged with changes in immigration law. Roya Habich currently represents clients in immigration matters.
