About Roushi
Roushi Sahagen began a nontraditional path to law that mixes an earlier academic chapter with later professional training. She earned a B.S. in History and Economics from Brandeis University in 1985. After time away from formal study she returned to pursue a law degree and graduated from the Massachusetts School of Law at Andover in 2003.
After completing her J.D., Sahagen established a solo practice. In 2007 she opened Roushi H. Sahagen, Lawyer at Law. The office handled a range of matters typical for a small firm and provided a base for litigation and counseling work. Two years later she took a position as an associate at Infinity Law Group, in 2009. That role added a larger firm environment to her background and exposed her to different case management systems and client structures.
Sahagen’s professional affiliations have been steady. She has been a member of the Massachusetts State Bar since 2007. In 2010 she joined the Massachusetts Bar Association, the Boston Bar Association, and the Bar Association of Norfolk County. She also participates in the Volunteer Lawyers Project and a group called Senior Partners for Justice; those memberships date to 2010 and remain current. These affiliations signal regular engagement with the organized bar and with volunteer legal services.
Her practice has covered family law and consumer bankruptcy matters. In Boston she operates an office that lists divorce work among its areas of practice and also handles bankruptcy matters. There is a second office in Quincy that supports matters originating in the southern suburbs. Her approach in court filings and client meetings tends toward practical problem solving rather than headline-making litigation. She has represented clients in contested family law proceedings and in consumer bankruptcy filings, helping individuals through property division, support calculations, and debt relief procedures.
Colleagues and peers know Sahagen as a lawyer who maintains an independent practice while keeping connections to larger bar networks. Her work spans the city and suburban courts of Massachusetts. She continues to accept cases from her Boston and Quincy offices and maintains active memberships in several local bar associations. She currently handles family law and bankruptcy matters from offices in Boston and Quincy.
