About Rosa
Rosa Vigil-Gallenberg earned her law degree from the University of California College of the Law, San Francisco in 2007, completing coursework in business and litigation. She also holds a Civil Litigation Certificate from UC Hastings College of the Law. Earlier, she studied political science and sociology at the University of California, Los Angeles, where she received her B.A. in 2003.
Her legal training included a judicial externship in 2005 for the Honorable Judge Sanchez-Gordon at the Los Angeles Superior Court and a law clerk position at Knox Ricksen LLP in 2006. Those early experiences gave her front-line exposure to courtroom procedure and the demands of civil practice. She moved into practice as an attorney in 2008, joining Koletsky, Mancini, Feldman & Morrow and later taking a lead role at Gallenberg PC as an employment and class action lawyer.
Vigil-Gallenberg is admitted to practice in California and in federal court before the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California and the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California. Over the course of her career she has handled matters in both state and federal forums. She represents clients in employment litigation and class-action matters, handling pretrial motions, discovery disputes, and trial preparation.
Her professional affiliations reflect a sustained presence in the Los Angeles legal community. She holds active membership in The State Bar of California, the California Employment Lawyers Association, the Consumer Attorneys of Los Angeles, the Los Angeles County Bar Association, the Beverly Hills Bar Association, the Women Lawyers Association of Los Angeles, the Mexican American Bar Association of Los Angeles, and the Latina Lawyers Bar Association of Los Angeles. Those memberships inform her practice through access to continuing legal education, networking, and peer review.
Today she practices at Gallenberg PC. Her work there centers on representing employees in contested employment disputes and pursuing class-action claims in state and federal court. She manages litigation from intake through resolution, emphasizing case development, motion practice, and trial preparation in employment and collective actions.
