About Ron
Ron Ribaudo studied philosophy and chemistry at the University of Missouri–St. Louis, earning a Bachelor of Arts in 1993. He returned to the university system for his legal education, taking his law degree at the University of Missouri–Columbia and finishing his J.D. in 2002. Those dual interests in analytical thinking and close reasoning shaped an early practice that combined appellate work, statutory interpretation and trial preparation.
After law school Ribaudo clerked for the Honorable Judge Harold Lowenstein on the Missouri Court of Appeals, Western District. That clerkship in 2002 placed him at the center of appellate decision-making and honed the written-brief skills that would mark much of his career. In 2004 he moved into government work, serving as an Assistant Lawyer General at the Missouri Lawyer General's Office. The same year he took on private practice roles, working as an associate with Paul Schramm at Edwards Scramm Watkins.
Ribaudo’s bar memberships and admissions span several jurisdictions. He is a member of the Missouri State Bar since 2002 and has been associated with the Council of Appellate Lawyers since 2009. He also held membership in the American Bar Association from 2002 until 2006. His licenses include New York, Missouri, Kansas and Illinois, giving him a geographic range for both trial and appellate matters.
Over the years Ribaudo has balanced public-sector assignments and private-law practice. The appellate clerkship informed how he approaches record review. The government role exposed him to regulatory and public-law disputes. Private practice, meanwhile, required attention to case management and client counseling. He has moved between those settings without a dramatic break in focus; the through-line has been methodical legal analysis and court-level advocacy.
He now operates The Ribaudo Law Office. The practice handles appeals and related litigation across the states where he is licensed. Clients include individuals and businesses seeking appellate briefing, oral argument and strategic advice about error preservation at the trial level. He also accepts matters that require cross-jurisdictional coordination.
Ribaudo continues to maintain bar memberships and professional ties while running his private practice. He remains active in appellate circles and concentrates his current practice on appellate litigation and advising on procedural issues in multi-jurisdictional cases.
