About Ron
Ron Calhoon earned his undergraduate degree from Vanderbilt University in 1981 and went on to receive a J.D. from Boston University School of Law in 1988. His educational path combined a liberal arts foundation with three years of law study in Boston. Those years set the stage for a career concentrated in Pennsylvania practice.
He entered practice in Pennsylvania and is recorded as becoming a partner at Serratelli, Schiffman, Brown & Calhoon, P.C. in 1988. That early partnership is followed, in the record, by a later partnership established in 2010 at Calhoon & Associates, P.C. Over the years his work has been centered on workplace injury issues and litigation tied to employee claims.
Calhoon’s professional life has involved steady participation in bar and trial organizations. He is a current member of the American Bar Association, the Pennsylvania Trial Lawyers Association and the Pennsylvania Bar Association. Locally, he has been involved in the Dauphin County Bar Association since 1989; he served as chairman of the association’s Workers’ Compensation Section and continues his association with the group. He also served on the board of the Pennsylvania Federation of Injured Workers from 1997 to 1999.
In 2010 Calhoon was selected for inclusion in Biltmore’s Who’s Who and Continental Who’s Who, listings that appear in his professional record from 2010 onward. Those selections sit alongside a practice history that includes law firm partnerships and steady representation of injured workers and claimants in administrative and court venues.
His career has combined courtroom work, administrative hearings and client counseling. He has handled workers’ compensation matters across Pennsylvania and participated in professional groups that address trial practice and injured worker advocacy. Courtroom appearances, hearings before workers’ compensation judges and negotiation of settlements have formed a significant portion of his caseload.
Calhoon maintains an office associated with Harrisburg Workers Compensation Lawyers. He continues to practice in Pennsylvania and handles workers’ compensation claims, administrative hearings and related litigation on behalf of injured workers.
