About Rocio Gosewehr

Rocio Gosewehr Hernandez studied history and law in two very different campuses before settling into a courtroom routine. She earned her B.A. from Baylor University in 2001 and completed her J.D. at the University of Notre Dame in 2005. Those years shaped a methodical approach to legal problems and an interest in litigation that has threaded through her career.

She began practicing law after graduating from Notre Dame and built experience in Dallas-area courts. Over time she joined professional groups that matched the work she was doing. Her memberships include the Dallas Trial Lawyers Association, the Dallas Women Lawyers Association and the Dallas Association of Young Lawyers. She also maintains other current professional memberships.

Throughout her early and mid-career years she took the sorts of assignments that trial lawyers often see. She handled pretrial preparation, motion practice and courtroom presentations. Those tasks helped her refine the practical skills many clients need when civil disputes go to trial. The work demanded attention to detail and an ability to present technical material clearly to judges and juries.

Colleagues describe her as steady in the courtroom and thorough at the office. She has worked with teams and led smaller litigation matters on her own. That mix of collaboration and independent responsibility is common among attorneys who move from associate roles into more senior positions. Her activity in local bar groups has kept her plugged into the Dallas legal community and current practice trends.

Today she is an attorney at Snellings Law PLLC in Dallas. Her role there continues to emphasize courtroom experience. She splits time between client counseling, case investigation and courtroom advocacy. She also assists in preparing trial materials and argues motions in state and federal venues when cases require it.

Hernandez’s path from Baylor to Notre Dame and into Dallas trial circles reflects a straightforward career arc: solid academic training followed by steady courtroom work. She maintains memberships in local legal organizations that align with her litigation practice and the professional networks she relies on. Her current practice focuses on trial work and civil litigation matters handled through Snellings Law PLLC.
