About Robert Steven Steve
Robert Steven Steve Wilson earned his J.D. from St. Mary’s University School of Law in 2011. He moved into practice in Texas soon after. The law degree set the stage for a career that has alternated between solo practice and firm partnership.
In 2013 he opened The Law Office of Robert Steve Wilson, PLLC. He ran that office as the firm’s owner, handling casework, client counseling and the day-to-day management tasks that come with a small practice. Those early years involved long hours in and out of court, building a client base and learning how to balance litigation demands with firm administration.
Five years later he shifted roles. In 2018 he joined The Mohr Law Office, PLLC as a partner. The move brought him into a larger office environment and into closer collaboration with other lawyers. At The Mohr Law Office he took on larger files and shared responsibility for managing client matters, while continuing to appear in court when the facts required it.
Wilson is licensed to practice in Texas. He has concentrated his career inside that jurisdiction and carries the perspective of someone who has worked both alone and inside a partnership. That dual experience informs how he approaches case strategy and client communication. He has handled cases through various phases of litigation and worked with clients who require hands-on guidance through the legal process.
Colleagues describe him as pragmatic and steady in the courtroom, and former clients note his willingness to explain complex issues in plain terms. He has continued to develop his practice by taking on a mix of contested matters and negotiated resolutions, depending on what each case demands. His office at The Mohr Law Office, PLLC serves as his professional base as of 2026. He currently represents individuals and businesses in Texas state matters.
