During law school, Robert gained inexperience by working at the Federal Defenders Office in Manhattan. He also had the privilege of clerking for the Honorable Vincent Broderick in the Southern District of New York, where he developed his legal acumen. After obtaining his law degree, Robert joined the Legal Aid Society in Manhattan as a criminal defense attorney.
