About Robert J.

Robert J. Howard earned his law degree from Touro College School of Law in 1998 after completing a bachelor’s degree in economics at the State University of New York at Stony Brook in 1993. He followed a straightforward academic path from economics undergraduate work into legal study. Those years framed the transition from business-oriented coursework to the study of law and litigation.

He is admitted to practice in New York and in several federal forums. Those federal admissions include the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of New York, the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York, and the U.S. Court of Federal Claims. Over time he has accumulated experience appearing in federal court proceedings and managing the procedural demands those venues require. That courtroom experience sits alongside counsel work in state matters.

Howard serves as Of Counsel at Rich, Intelisano & Katz, LLP. In that role he works on litigation matters handled by the firm and appears in federal district courts and the Court of Federal Claims. His professional record reflects steady involvement in litigation practice over the years since completing his J.D. He has combined courtroom appearances with research and drafting that support larger trial teams.

Colleagues describe his practice style as methodical and focused on process. He approaches casework with attention to deadlines, filings, and the procedural mechanics that can determine outcomes in federal and state courts. His admissions to multiple federal courts give him regular exposure to differing local practices and judges. He remains based at Rich, Intelisano & Katz, LLP and continues to handle matters that arise in both federal and state jurisdictions. His current practice concentrates on litigation in federal and state courts.
