About Robert J.
Robert J. Castle built his practice around courtroom work and consumer matters. He founded The Castle Law Office in 2022 and serves as its managing partner. He began his formal legal training after completing undergraduate studies at Indiana University Bloomington, where he earned a B.A. in 2007. He then attended Loyola University Chicago School of Law, earning his J.D. in 2014. Those years in Chicago placed him in the middle of a busy legal market and a federal-court district that handles significant consumer and commercial litigation.
After law school, Castle joined professional organizations that match his courtroom practice. He holds membership in the State Bar of Illinois and the Illinois State Bar Association, both since 2014, and has been active in the American Bar Association since 2017. He is admitted to practice in Illinois and in the United States Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit, and he is licensed in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois. Those admissions allow him to take cases across state and federal forums in the region.
In 2022 he launched The Castle Law Office. He runs the firm as founder and managing partner and oversees case strategy, filings and trial preparation. He also earned a Certificate of Recognition for FDCPA matters from FDCPA Certifications, LLC. That credential is one of several professional steps he has taken to handle consumer debt and debt-collection disputes that reach both state and federal court.
Castle’s practice includes litigation, appeals and client counseling on consumer-related claims. He has handled matters that involve the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act and other statutes that govern creditor and collector conduct. He files motions in federal court and defends or pursues claims in Illinois state courts. He remains active in bar associations, attending meetings and programs that cover updates in procedure and substantive law. He currently runs The Castle Law Office, where his practice focuses on consumer protection and debt-collection matters.
