About Robert G.
Robert G. Leino began his academic journey at Temple University, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts. He went on to receive a Juris Doctor from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law. Early in his career he also completed a Certificate in Systems Design and Analysis at New York University in 1977. That technical credential sits alongside his formal legal training.
He practices under his own name as Robert G. Leino, Lawyer-at-Law. His admissions cover both state and federal forums. He is admitted to the bars of New York and Pennsylvania. He also holds admission to the U.S. Supreme Court. At the federal trial level he is admitted in the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York and the Eastern District of Pennsylvania. On appeal he is admitted in both the Second and Third Circuit Courts of Appeal.
Leino has maintained a practice that advances cases in a range of courts. His experience includes appearances in district courts and appellate panels across the jurisdictions where he is admitted. The NYU certificate in systems design and analysis, earned in 1977, is part of his professional background and reflects additional training outside the law degree. He has chosen to practice as a lawyer-at-law, operating under his own name rather than as part of a large firm structure.
Colleagues and clients encounter a lawyer who practices in courts spanning state and federal systems. He files and argues matters in district courts and, where appropriate, takes appeals to circuit courts and the nation’s highest court. His admissions to the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York, the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, the Second and Third Circuits, and the U.S. Supreme Court enable him to handle matters that require representation across multiple levels of the judiciary. He currently practices as Robert G. Leino, Lawyer-at-Law, representing clients in matters before federal and state courts.
