Robert E. Dolan arrived at law by way of numbers and small-business planning. He earned a B.S. in Finance and Entrepreneurship from the University of Saint Thomas, then went on to law school at William Mitchell College of Law. The combination of financial training and a J.D. gave him an analytical toolbox useful in business and appellate settings.
After law school he entered practice in Minnesota. He is licensed to practice in the state and is admitted to appear before the Federal Circuit. He maintains active memberships in the Minnesota State Bar Association and the Itasca County Bar Association, where he stays connected to local and statewide legal developments.
