Robert David Baizer is a licensed attorney admitted to practice law in the State of California. He was admitted to the California State Bar in 1975. His license is currently in active status. Mr. Baizer is the principal attorney at the Law Offices of Robert Baizer, a firm specializing in immigration law, located in Oakland, California. He has been practicing law for over 50 years, serving clients throughout the state with a focus on immigration matters.

Mr. Baizer earned his Juris Doctor degree from Golden Gate University School of Law, where he graduated in the top 10% of his class. Prior to law school, he completed his undergraduate education at the University of California, Berkeley, receiving a Bachelor of Arts degree. During his time at Golden Gate University, he was recognized for his academic excellence and commitment to the field of law.

Mr. Baizer concentrates his practice in the area of immigration law, representing individuals and businesses in matters involving employment-based temporary visas, family and marriage-based applications, permanent residence applications, H-1B visas, citizenship, appeals, consular processing, inspections, removal and deportation defense, and federal litigation. Throughout his career, Mr. Baizer has handled cases in the U.S. Court of Appeals, U.S. District Courts, and various agency offices in the U.S. and abroad. He has also testified before the immigration subcommittee of the U.S. House of Representatives. Prior to founding his own firm, he was a partner at Yonemura, Yasaki & Baizer, a firm that represented major Japanese and U.S. companies in employment-based immigration cases and various family immigration and citizenship matters.

Mr. Baizer is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association and has been certified as a specialist in immigration law by the State Bar of California for over 20 years. He has been selected as a Northern California "Superlawyer" through a peer evaluation process. He is also a long-time participant in the immigration law clinic of the Alameda County Bar Association. Mr. Baizer is fluent in English and Japanese, allowing him to serve a diverse clientele effectively.
