Robert Christian Weaver Jr. is a licensed attorney admitted to practice law in the State of California. He was admitted to the California State Bar in 1982. His license is currently in active status. Mr. Weaver is the principal attorney at the Law Office of Robert Weaver, located at 4725 Mercury Street, Suite 210, San Diego, CA 92111-2127. He has been practicing law for over 43 years, serving clients throughout San Diego and the surrounding areas.
Mr. Weaver earned his Juris Doctor degree from the Thomas Jefferson School of Law in 1976. Prior to law school, he completed his undergraduate education at California State University, San Diego State University, receiving a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1966. He also obtained a Master of Science degree from the same institution in 1970. During his time at Thomas Jefferson School of Law, he was actively involved in various student organizations and legal clinics.
Mr. Weaver concentrates his practice in the areas of estate planning, business law, probate, and real estate. He represents individuals and businesses in matters involving the formation and operation of corporations, limited liability companies (LLCs), and partnerships. His practice encompasses all stages of litigation, including initial case evaluation, discovery, mediation, settlement negotiations, and trial proceedings in both state and federal courts.
Throughout his career, Mr. Weaver has handled cases in the Superior Court of California for the County of San Diego, the United States District Court for the Southern District of California, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. He has also appeared before the California Court of Appeal on multiple occasions. Prior to founding his own firm, he worked as an associate at a mid-size litigation firm in San Diego for five years.
Mr. Weaver is an active member of the State Bar of California and has been a member since 1976. He is also a member of the San Diego County Bar Association. He has served as a lecturer at various legal seminars and has been involved in community service projects, including providing pro bono legal services to underserved communities in San Diego. Mr. Weaver is fluent in English and Spanish, allowing him to serve the diverse communities of San Diego County effectively.
