About Robert C.

Robert C. Jeffries earned his J.D. from the University of Dayton School of Law in 2012. He entered law school after undergraduate studies and finished in the early 2010s. His legal education provided the foundation for a career that has moved between public service and private practice.

He began his legal career as a law clerk at Denny Law in 2009. That role introduced him to the day-to-day work of a practicing firm and the mechanics of case preparation. He then moved into government work, serving as an Assistant District Lawyer in 2013. The following year he joined the Ashtabula County Prosecutor’s Office as an Assistant Prosecuting Lawyer, where he handled prosecutorial duties and court appearances.

After several years in public offices, Jeffries transitioned back to private practice. In 2016 he became a partner at Kahn & Associates, LLC. That partnership placed him in a firm leadership role and involved both case management and client counseling. He stayed in that capacity for several years before launching his own practice.

In 2023 he founded Jeffries Law, PLLC and took on the responsibilities of a sole practitioner and firm founder. The move to establish a firm reflected a shift toward managing a practice and directing legal strategy for clients under his own banner. The office listing for Jeffries Law, PLLC appears in professional directories as his current base of operations.

Jeffries is licensed to practice in Texas and has been a member of the State Bar of Texas since 2021. His bar membership is current and he remains active in the state’s professional community. His background spans courtroom work as a prosecutor, trial experience from district-level assignments, and private-sector practice as a partner and firm principal.

Colleagues and former supervisors describe a lawyer who is comfortable shifting between litigation and advisory roles. He has handled matters that require courtroom presence as well as those that demand negotiation and case management. His path—clerk, prosecutor, partner, founder—gives him a broad perspective on how cases are built and resolved.

He now leads Jeffries Law, PLLC, where his practice focuses on representing clients in matters governed by Texas law and state courts.
