About Robert C. Hahn
Robert C. Hahn III built his legal foundation at Gonzaga University School of Law, where he earned his J.D. in 1994. He completed undergraduate studies at Bowling Green State University, graduating in 1990 with a B.A. in Environmental Policy and Analysis. Those academic years shaped a practical approach to law and introduced him to courtroom procedure and policy work.
He began his legal career as a law clerk for the Snohomish County Superior Court in 1997. The clerkship offered early exposure to trial practice and judicial decisionmaking. In 1998 he took a contract lawyer position at Starbucks Corporation, handling transactional and corporate matters for a national company. That corporate experience gave him a different perspective on client needs and legal compliance.
Hahn moved into private practice near the end of the 1990s. He became a partner at Raugust and Hahn, PLLC in 1999. That role involved managing client portfolios and working through insolvency and litigation matters. In 2006 he opened his own firm, The Law Office of Robert C. Hahn, III, P.S., where he has continued to represent individuals and small businesses.
He is licensed to practice in Washington and has maintained membership in the Washington State Bar Association since 1997. His professional affiliations reflect steady participation in practice-focused groups. He has belonged to the Eastern District of Washington Bankruptcy Bar Association and the Spokane County Bar Association since 2000. He joined the American Immigration Lawyers Foundation in 2001 and the Federal Bar Association’s Eastern District of Washington chapter in 2005. He also holds membership in the National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Lawyers beginning in 2005. Those associations indicate ongoing engagement with bankruptcy and immigration communities and with federal practice in the region.
Hahn’s practice history traverses court work, in-house corporate law, firm partnership and solo practice. His background spans courtroom procedure from his clerkship, corporate legal work from his time at Starbucks, and both litigated and transactional matters handled in private firms. He has worked on consumer bankruptcy matters and immigration-related cases, drawing on membership and continuing education through professional organizations.
He maintains an active private practice in Washington and handles bankruptcy and immigration matters alongside related civil litigation and transactional work.
