About Robert

Robert Blocker earned his Juris Doctor from Texas Wesleyan University School of Law in 1995. He was admitted to the Texas State Bar that same year and has maintained membership continuously since. Over three decades in the profession have given him a long perspective on how the practice of law in Texas has changed.

After law school, Blocker began a career that has been anchored in Texas. He has navigated the daily work of a practicing attorney through periods of shifting rules and evolving court procedures. Colleagues describe him as steady and pragmatic in his approach to routine and complex matters alike. He has handled client intake, case preparation and courtroom proceedings as part of that work.

Blocker’s professional experience spans the typical tasks a practicing lawyer must perform: advising clients on legal options, drafting pleadings and other documents, and appearing before judges and administrative decision makers. He has also been involved in negotiating resolutions and managing litigation schedules. Those activities have occupied the bulk of his professional life since admission to the bar.

Active membership in the Texas State Bar has been a constant. That standing has allowed him to continue practicing law through more than 30 years. He has kept up with continuing legal education and the professional obligations required by the state bar. His work reflects the steady accumulation of practical courtroom and office experience rather than public prominence or academic roles.

Blocker’s career path has not been defined by public office or widely reported cases. Instead, it shows the sustained practice of law carried out behind the scenes: counseling clients, preparing matters for trial, and resolving disputes where possible. This work demands attention to procedural detail and client communication, tasks he has undertaken throughout his career.

As of 2026, he remains an active member of the Texas State Bar and continues to practice law in Texas, handling the range of matters that come with long-term legal practice in the state.

He currently maintains an active Texas law license and practices throughout the state.
